Title: Salesforce (Core and Service Cloud) Digital Technical Lead
Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid of primarily remote work with some onsite work for teaming, business alignment and leadership meetings. This person needs to be based in Southern CA).
Duration: November 2024 – March 31, 2026
We are looking for a seasoned Technical Lead to join as a Senior member of our client's team to assist with reshaping their digital landscape through expert Technical Leadership. This individual will enhance our client's large Salesforce (Core, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) instance, expand mobile solutions, and focus on the quality of integrations (payment gateway, systems of record, identify management).
This lead will be part of a rapidly growing Innovation and Digital DevOps (IDDO) unit. This Unit is part of our client's Systems and Captive Finance IT Division. They serve world class captive finance and insurance organizations which finance and insure automobile, power sports, power equipment, marine, jet and insurance offerings and more. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to using technology to solve real-world business challenges.
Responsibilities will include the following:
- Serve as the primary technical contact for Salesforce and mobile related queries within the organization, liaising with both internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Oversee and drive the design, architecture and implementation of Salesforce Core, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud to enhance customer experience and agent efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize mobile applications for iOS and/or Android with Salesforce, enhancing functionality across both digital channels
- Lead the integration and implementation of payment gateway improvements, ensuring secure and efficient transaction processing
- Roadmap and evangelize our client's digital transformation across mid-term and long-term plans.
- Utilize platform roadmap to maximize our product roadmap
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project and operations documentation, including system configurations, maintenance schedules and upgrade strategies
- Monitor system performance and technical debt, resolving technical issues, discerning root cause, and implementing improvements to maintain service levels and user satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and maintain a high level of system security and reliability
- Manage a team of 1-2 direct or indirect reports, providing guidance and support
- Experience providing leadership and audit of offshore developers and architects
Required Skills and Expertise:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Architect within a large Salesforce environment, with a strong focus on Payment Gateway Integration
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Core and Service Cloud functionalities
- Proven track record supporting complex and successful integrations and implementations
- Proficiency in developing high visibility mobile solutions (iOS and Android platforms)
- Self-starter with reliable follow-through, interested in problem solving with data-driven analysis
- Experience managing teams, with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills and Expertise:
- Salesforce certifications, particularly Salesforce Architecture and Development
- Knowledge of CRM platforms and integration tools
- SAFe Agile methodology
